University of Maryland, Environmental Engineering Program is accepted applications for a Post-Doctoral Position in the Davis research group. The primary responsibility of the successful candidate will be to first set up and test several field research monitoring systems for stormwater from impervious urban surfaces. Once set up, duties will shift to sample collection, sample analysis, data analysis, and writeup. Experience in field stormwater sampling is strongly desired. A strong background in water quality and treatment is required.
The successful candidate is expected to work independently and will have supervisory duties for the project. Strong written and oral communication skills are required. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering or a closely related field.
