Tenure-Track Faculty Position in Environmental Engineering at Yale University
The Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering (CEE) at Yale University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the level of Assistant Professor, with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2027. The search will consider all areas of environmental engineering, with some preference given to candidates working in air quality or computational modeling and environmental data science. Candidates who can establish strong collaborations, both within the department and across the university, are especially encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will be expected to teach at the undergraduate and graduate level.
Candidates should hold a PhD or equivalent degree in environmental engineering or a closely related discipline at the time of hire, and be dedicated to teaching environmental engineering courses and developing an internationally recognized research program.

The final candidate, upon acceptance of a contingent offer of employment/faculty appointment, may be required to disclose whether they are, or have been, the subject of any disciplinary proceeding (investigation, hearing, etc.) at previous institutions or employers, and may also be subject to a background screening. Candidates who materially misrepresent information on their resume or other application materials are ineligible for hire/appointment.
